Andrew Lobo, Advisory Board & Partner

Mr. Lobo serves as a Director at the Zyman Group. Zyman Group is an international management consulting firm dedicated to helping companies accelerate growth profitably. Their solutions are centered on the principle that marketing is business and that its purpose is to “sell more stuff to more people more often for more money more efficiently.™  Prior to joining the Z Group, Mr. Lobo was Vice-President of Strategy for the Sports Authority, the world’s largest retailer of athletic equipment.  Mr. Lobo advised senior management on taking the company private and assisted with the sale and privatization process.  While at Sports Authority, Mr. Lobo directed a complete strategic review of company operations and played a key role in the post merger integration of Gart Sports and The Sports Authority.  In addition, Mr. Lobo was responsible for the company’s international operations, including a joint retail venture in Japan and the negotiation of license deals in other countries.Mr. Lobo was a co-founder of eSkye Solutions, Inc, and served as the company’s President and a member of its Board of Directors from July, 1999 to 2003.  While at eSkye Mr. Lobo helped raise over $48.5 million in venture funding.
Prior to eSkye, Mr. Lobo served as an executive with both the Coca-Cola Company and The Seagram Company Ltd. where he developed broad international finance and strategy experience. At Coca-Cola, he served as Director of Human Capital Planning, and was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive process linking strategy to operating requirements for Coca-Cola’s worldwide operations.  At The Seagram Company Ltd., Mr. Lobo performed financial, production, and distribution audits for the company’s global operations following the acquisitions of Martel and Tropicana. Mr. Lobo has also served as a strategy consultant for both Arthur D. Little and Price Waterhouse, where he gained experience in M&A and executed supply chain and productivity improvement projects for grocery, beverage, and healthcare industries.  Mr. Lobo started his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Company, where he developed an expertise in both the hotel and commercial real estate industries. Among other assignments, Mr. Lobo participated in the $2.5 billion acquisition of Intercontinental Hotels by the Seibu Saison Group of Japan.

A certified public accountant, Mr. Lobo received a MBA in Finance and Marketing from Vanderbilt University-Owen School of Management and a B.S. in accounting, graduating summa cum laude, from St. Peter’s College.
